General Guidelines/Suggestions for choosing your yoga class
For your first class arrive about 7 minutes early, fill out our health form and try to give your instructor some idea of what you are looking for.
For
Beginner: Easy, slower flow with some step by step instructions
Gentle: Slower paced for all levels
Foundations: Step by step instruction for all postures
Look for the right class label on our schedule and try classes with Devorah, Andrew, Michael, Miriam, Davira, Maureen, and Lisa. Also, look for classes labeled gentle or restorative.
For
Intermediate or advanced (more physically challenging): Quicker pace, longer holding postures, less step by step instructions. These classes require prior experience with yoga.
Look for the right class label on our schedule and try a class with Lisa,
Davira, or Maureen
Key
Mixed: Men and women
Women: Only women as students
Men: Only men as students and as the teacher
Classes on the schedule which are highlighted in yellow indicate that the Central Avenue entrance is to be used. For all other group classes please use the gourmet or parking lot entrance.
